Illumination...

From light we come alive - brilliant and ablaze in a celebration of humanity.

From dawns to deserts and the midday sun we thrive in the soulful dance of earth, wind and fire.

From Africa to Mars and the great Ra, we rise and fall on the radiance of this brilliant star.

All praise to the giver, taker and illuminator of destinies.
All praise to light and its playful shadows.
All praise to the sun.

Presence...

There is a great essence that inhabits us, that leaks from our soul, that floods our grandeur, that engulfs our possibility.

There is an authentic
presence that defines us, that bleeds dignity, that devours creativity, that oozes originality.

There is a furious
strength that radiates from us, that detonates our passion, that explodes our dreams, that demolishes our failings.

And so we stand bare...before the judgment of our God, elders, ancestors and gods, living an unpredictable and unexpected life.

Chaos and Change...

"The eye of chaos..."

First published in this blog.

The power, magic and fear of chaos lies in our perception of it.

Chaos is seen by some as the source from which all possibilities arise and the world was created.

It is also seen by others as proof of our moral failings and a breakdown in our value system. Anarchy.

Sages see it as a point of transformation, a necessity if we are to grow and move to the next level of our existence.

Chaos is a an aspect of change.

In the natural, ever changing chaotic world, we can be seen, on occasion, as a source of order, balance and meaning, through our perceptions and actions.

We can be a source of the peace we seek.

Tradition... (Part 4 of 4)

Prayer...

Prayer does not require a religion or faith.

It require a desire to reach beyond yourself and acknowledge
other forces in your surroundings that influence you.

Prayer is a respectful commune with all things meaningful and powerful,
whether in our perception, our stories or our reality.

Prayer is a respect for the gods, God, the elements of nature, the known and/or the unknown.

Prayer is a meditation and a cultivation of energy through thought and reflection, from which we synchronize our being with the world that surrounds us.

Prayer does not demand a religion or faith.

It demands humility, openness and a willingness to acknowledge all things within and beyond us (the self), known and unknown.

amen.

Healing Motion...

Through motion the body heals itself.
Through non-motion the body harms itself.

The body has a center, a symmetry, a freedom, a sensuality and a balance that it naturally expresses in movements such as dancing, walking, acts of athleticism and lovemaking, among many others.

Energy as motion radiates from the magnificence of the body's epicenter.
Beautiful we are, in all forms.
Divine we are, on all terms.
Be.

Our wants and needs are many
yet regrettably our beliefs are few.

We have the capacity for an unending number of thoughts and beliefs,
Yet we reward ourselves for our limited use of this capacity.
Having one belief is seen as a good thing.
Having fewer thoughts is seen as healthy.

The charm of a limited and singular capacity is misleading.
The more your awareness and values function in one dimension, the more susceptible you are to prejudgment and manipulation.

So seek beyond the limits of the familiar and explore the power of our multidimensional capacity to believe and think and therefore create.

Essential radiance...

Grace upon the winds of hope. Accepting the gentle reminder of peace, the flow of God's breath left over from Adam. Creeping, crawling back into a nature I desired not to be born from. Into stone beautiful, harsh softness, heavy, formful intelligence. Accept me, restore to all forms, no shape, no gender, no name. Wear me down tideless. Whisper again, want again, need nevermore, let me go. Never again born and shaped, there is no form of you in me. Wear me down without hope. Accept touch, silence and this ear. Grace less. Lovers end. Hope less. Never again...

At the entrance to inner peace sits the soul: beautiful, pure of form, devoid of aspiration and silent to the daily fatigue of life.

Is her calm, gentle and humble presence she dispenses harmony, healing and hope.

In her tranquil radiance there is renewal, rest and understanding.

She gracefully awaits the gifts of your anger, pain and fears.

Brimming with the subtle energy of patience and awareness, she urges you to lay the offering of your burdens at her feet and again soar.

In prayer she waits.

Man is more than the sum of the parts and perspectives we have seen of him to date.
Sage. Warlock. Shaman. Sorcerer. Diviner.

He remains the keeper of our flame.
The wielder of the axe.
The alchemist.
The saint.
The transformer.
The destroyer.
The healer.

By chaos he is driven.
By fear he overcomes.
By failure he evolves.
By love he transcends.
By silence he rises and is reborn.

Isn't she lovely?
Isn't she sad?
Sitting there in her own shadow?
On the verge of what, only she knows?

What can it be, such solemnity?
Such unspoken thought?
Such silence of being?

Is there no light?
Is there not somewhere a hand to hold?
A hand of hope?

Yes.
Just beyond her fears, self-doubt, sadness and pain lies a comfort and salvation in the unseen hands of elders, ancestors and (G)od.
We are never alone.

all that you fear and don't fear
all that you perceive and don't perceive.

I am...
all that is mysterious and not mysterious
all that is divine and not divine
all that is painful and not painful
all that is wise and not wise
all that is possible and not possible.

As I am, I am nothing, anything and everything
from boy to man
from father to son
from lover to friend.

This is, as I am.

There is something I have not told anyone
It's a secret but not a secret
Can you tell what it is?
Can you see what it is?
I've known it for a long time but I wasn't sure that people wanted to know it
Have you figured it out yet?

Ok, no more suspense, here is my little secret:

"I am beautiful"
That's all I wanted to say.

Designer self right off the shelf?

Flavour by the fable.
Charisma by the label.

Personality by the pound.
Divinity by the sound:

Able me before Calvin disables me.
Able me before Prada wears me.

Design my divine and redesign my mind,
therein exists my essence sublime.

Angel of Sight [top]
Angel of Dreams [center]
Angel of Fire [bottom]

In between the world of man’s thoughts, desires and divinity is a dimension where you will find an unheralded group of angels that are accountable for management of the repressed deeds of man.

They assist him in dealing with that which he is not yet capable of acknowledging and attempts to inadvertently destroy in the hopes of obtaining a divine and enlightened humanity.

These angels’ appear in their scarred and distorted forms which has been shaped by their sacred dimensional work with the unconscious primal energies generated by man.
